Website transition

Hello everyone!

I'm sure you've noticed some changes on the UGEC 2014 Conference site.  We've almost finished our conference synthesis efforts and will be posting them here.  As such, we've decided to do some re-designing and re-organizing of the site.

The original information about the conference will still be available during our construction; however, there may be occasions where the site needs to be taken down for one reason or another.  We apologize for the inconvenience and will work hard to make sure these outages don't last too long.

We're excited to share with you the synthesis of our conference.  Keep checking back for further updates!

Best Regards,
Mark

A New Design!

As I'm sure you've noticed, our conference website has a new design!  It's based on the work that Suzanne Landtiser of Fine Line Studio has done for our conference materials.  She's also done quite a bit of work for us in the past, including our 2010 conference materials, and UGEC Viewpoints.  A big thank you to Suzanne for all the fantastic work she has done for us!

If you're in need of some design work, we highly recommend her.  Check out her website for more details!

Update on UGEC Conference

Letters of acceptance and rejection were sent out on Friday, June 20th.  Thank you again to everyone who submitted an abstract!  It was a pleasure to see so many scholars doing such important work on urbanization and global environmental change!

We've also updated the "About Taipei" page with information regarding Taipei tours.

More updates are coming!  Be sure to check back often.
